Denise guides her students towards the natural balance, peace and potent, unconditional bliss in body and mind that the yogic teachings have to share. She started her health journey when severe allergies and migraines consumed her life during college. Through the help of self-study on nutrition and lifestyle, she was able to slowly unravel her feelings of sickness and to begin a corporate career in New York City. After moving to Chicago, she began a more regular practice of yoga battling stress and the feeling of being overworked, which quickly left her partially transformed and curious about this vast "new" world of experiential knowledge called yoga. Ashley completed her 200 hr Power Teacher Training in the winter of 2016. She took her first yoga class over 10 years ago, but it wasn’t until 3 years ago that she realized the impact a daily practice could have on her whole life; mind, body and soul. She loved the feeling she would get after attempting a posture for weeks, sometimes months and one day completing the posture with ease, it reminded her of being a fearless child not afraid to try and fail and get up and try again. After working several years in the sales industry she realized she wanted to spread the love she has always had for fitness, health and human connection by becoming a yoga teacher. Ashley loves a sweaty flow, with lots of opportunity to build strength, while focusing on the mind and learning where you are able to let go and try easy.
